At Méridien, we have always been forward-thinking, innovative and seek to develop homes that better meet the needs of our communities. Our approach to NDIS-SDA was to gain insights from participants and their support teams to better understand how we can build a better home. We listened and found out what matters most.

The Méridien SDA Studio Homes are homes that deliver more personal space than any other SDA home with design elements that are adaptable to what the individual person needs.
Typically, an SDA home provides a bedroom and bathroom for each participant, and in most cases, the design meets the minimum design standards and requirements. Each “Studio” provides participants with so much more:
Your “Studio” is like a home within a home and also includes reverse cycle air conditioning and a big screen TV in the multi-purpose room.
It’s Your Space. Make it what you want it to be. Your Rules.

The Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) is your adaptable space to make it what you want it to be – imagine a study, private living area, gym, treatment room . . .

We’d love to hear what you would do with more personal space in your SDA Home.
Beyond your personal “Studio” the Méridien SDA Studio Home is designed to support participants and their support ‘ecosystem’ with share space that is both functional and appealing.
We believe that share space needs to be part of creating the ‘community’ of the SDA home and have designed something that supports this thinking.
Make the most of your personal space and enjoy the shared community space.

Orca delivers reliable, sustainable power for SDA homes, ensuring uninterrupted energy with solar backup during outages. Designed for long-lasting performance, it provides peace of mind for both you and your carer by eliminating power disruptions that could potentially affect the operation of critical equipment.

Disclaimer: Orca’s ability to provide up to 20 hours of backup power is based on a fully charged battery at the start of a blackout. The system may operate for approximately 5 hours on battery power, after which solar generation will supply the home and recharge the battery for up to 10 hours. The battery may then provide an additional 5 hours of power. Actual performance may vary depending on factors such as battery health, solar availability, weather conditions, and household energy consumption.
